What we collect

When you use a form on this website we collect the details you choose to give us. That can include your name, email address, phone number, postcode and region, who the support is for, their age and primary need, and anything you write in a message.

Some of this, such as information about a person's health or disability, is special category data under UK data protection law. We only use it to respond to your enquiry and to understand what support could help.

How we use it

We use your details to reply to you, to discuss care and support options, and to keep a record of our conversation. We do not sell your information or use it for marketing without your separate agreement.

Our lawful basis

We rely on your consent, which you give by ticking the box on our forms, and on our legitimate interest in responding to people who contact us. Where you share health information we rely on your explicit consent. You can withdraw consent at any time by contacting us.

Who can see it

Your message is delivered securely by email to our referrals team. Only 3AP Home Care staff who need it to help you can see it. We use trusted service providers to host this website and deliver email, and they process data only on our instructions.

How long we keep it

If your enquiry does not lead to support from us, we delete it within 12 months. If you go on to receive support, your information becomes part of your care record and is kept for as long as the law requires.

Your rights

You can ask for a copy of the information we hold about you, ask us to correct or delete it, or object to how we use it. If you are unhappy with how we have handled your information you can complain to the Information Commissioner's Office (ico.org.uk).
